seakings.100 • The Palos Verdes High boys’ soccer team gets two straight victories before going on winter break.

The Palos Verdes varsity soccer team is off to an impressive start with their fourth win of the season at home.
On a brisk Tuesday afternoon, the Sea Kings faced off against the Woodrow Wilson High Bruins (2-2-1). PV launched an early campaign in the first half, focusing on fast offense and accurate passing. After gaining control from a Bruins turnover, Dylan Bartlett set up Cade Coward for the first goal.
The Sea Kings never looked back after that. The PV defense took control in the second half, keeping the Bruins in check.

Coward, a junior and leading scorer for the Sea Kings, said that senior leadership provides the edge for a very technical group of players.
“I think we have a chance to take Bay League,’ said Coward, as he was interviewed after the game. He paid respect to all the senior players and noted Bartlett, and Frank Coloraturo as making significant contributions.
Led by senior AJ Meade-Tatum‘s three goals, the Sea Kings ended their homestand with a 5-1 win over South High. PV also got goals from Baeza and Sean Agahee in the non-conference win. CIF possibilities are promising for this bunch of athletes.
