PVIS• PVIS Invitational includes local elementary schools.

Elementary school students took over the Hill this month, running the 1.2 mile cross country course at Palos Verdes Intermediate School.
The run was organized by the PVIS cross country team with Linda and Scott Reid.
More than 100 students participated from elementary schools Silver Spur, Cornerstone, Mira Catalina, Lunada Bay, Vista Grande, and Point Vicente. Last year there were only 25 student participants.
Linda Reid said organizers were really hoping to make the event a community affair.
Students and parents from both high schools and PVIS helped to make sure things ran smoothly. It was a quick race, and all the runners had fun representing their school.
The goal of the event was to make cross country fun and introduce an option for students when they enter middle school. crosscountry 500l
