When Ted Vegvari founded Palos Verdes on the Net 21 years ago, his mission was to teach the community about emerging technology, specifically a little thing called the “Internet.”


Special Olympics• Peninsula High School student serves up hugs and high-fives for Special Olympians.

Peninsula High senior Sam Meyers heard about the Special Olympics World Games coming to Los Angeles and signed up to get involved.  Last November, he registered to be a volunteer and was recruited to assist the competition manager for Table Tennis at the Los Angeles Convention Center.  During the week-long competition at the end of July, 236 athletes competed in the Table Tennis events.


Pony All-Stars Finish Out Summer

• The PVP Pony League 13-year-old All-Star team competed in three tournaments this summer.

The 2015 Peninsula Pony League All-Star team was announced on June 6 at the league’s closing ceremonies at Ernie Howlett Park.
