• The Palos Verdes High girls’ soccer team goes deep into CIF playoffs.

The Palos Verdes High girls’ varsity soccer team finished a great season, going undefeated in the Bay League and compiling an overall record of 17-8-2.
The first round of CIF playoffs was against the Valencia High School Tigers where a top-notch defense took the game into overtime. Kylie McElroy, in goal, had two penalty kick saves leading to the win and advancement to the second round.
Round two of CIF found the Sea Kings hitting their offensive stride as Elena Wingard, and Olivia Yang scored to take the win over Laguna Beach High School.
In the third round the Sea Kings faced off against La Serna High School in Whittier, where PV”s offensive lightning struck again with Sydney Myrick and Olivia Yang both scoring to advance to round four of CIF.
